Today, Samsung announced the public release of the One UI 7 beta program, which will bring AI features and an ecosystem to the Galaxy S Series.

Samsung stated in a blog post, “One UI 7 marks a significant leap forward by integrating leading AI agents and multimodal capabilities into every touch point of the interface, creating an AI platform where every interaction feels natural and intuitive. The beta program offers a first look at an upgraded mobile user experience for greater personalization than ever before.”

One UI 7 beta program offers various intuitive features integrated with the AI operating system. Look at the following, Samsung’s latest powerful AI tools to enhance user experience.

Writing Assist Tools 

One UI 7 integrates a writing assist tool to transform your writing performance. It allows you to select text without switching between applications. This feature automatically summarizes your text, checks spelling and grammar, and formats notes into bullet points. 

Call Transcripts

Samsung intends to embed the call transcripts feature, which supports 20 languages. When call recording is active, it can automatically transcribe the call based on the reference language. It is a cool feature to use without stressing about unknown language.

Now Bar

The new beta program revamped the home screen design with Now Bar for greater personalization and control. With a lock screen, you can control multiple applications like Interpreter, Music, Recording, and Stopwatch.

Camera Control

The new camera buttons, controls, and modes are built into the UX, making it easier to get a clear preview of the video recording and photos. Additionally, the new zoom control allows to control of zoom speed for smooth transitions.

While Samsung said the official release of One UI 7 will be in the Q1 of 2025. The first AI-enhanced beta will be available in specified countries: Germany, India, Korea, Poland, the U.K., and the U.S.
